Potting and displaying

Depending on the project, some Smooth-On silicone, polyurethane rubber, polyurethane liquid plastics and epoxy resins are used for specific potting and exhibit occasions. Each material has properties (such as optical clarity or electrical insulation) that make it more suitable for potting than others.

Smooth-On also manufactures organic silicone materials specifically for solar cell packaging. Tarbender®️ high-gloss epoxy is ideal for making bar countertops, encapsulating 3-D objects or coating flat objects, paper and more.
